Melissa McCoy | Account Manager
Born and raised in Kansas Melissa has grown up with a strong influence of business ethics and hard work. Her father and his family grew and developed a long line of successful business and her mother was a stay at home mom of three and a Master Artisan porcelain doll maker.
Melissa, after a few years of “good-times” or as she calls them “life-development classes 101” started studding anything she could get he hands on. She graduated from Pittsburg State University with a BA degree in Psychology and Justice Studies, and then earned her MA in Communications also from Pittsburg State. While studding for her masters, she was accepted to the summer communication development program at Sterling University in Scotland where she engaged in a multicultural learning experience. After a few years of working in the “real-world” and with the encouragement her father, Melissa enrolled in Rockhurst University where she earned her MBA in the spring of 2006.
Melissa started at Turn The Page February 2012 as an account coordinator. After gaining a strong understanding of the ever changing world of online marketing she became an account manager and now works towards the growth and development of our Turn The Page clients.
Melissa’s experience is not just in online marketing; she has worked with an oil company, as a co-owner (with her brother) of a construction company, has restaurant experience, worked for nonprofits and even time spent working on Capitol Hill with her local congressman.
In 2003 she married her best friend Kyle, they currently have two wonderful, challenging and lovely children who keep her very grounded. She speaks daily with her brother Michael (also her best friend) and is a proud aunt to his daughter and four other amazing girls. Besides work, husband, kids and family, Melissa enjoys her time with her horses, spending time with friends and laughing!
