Online Marketing Account Coordinator Internship

Hi, my name is Adriana Gilbert, a.k.a. Gilburrito. Prior to Turn The Page Online Marketing, I was a student at Northwest Missouri State University, Athletic Marketing manager, Molly’s bartender and Basset Hound mother.

The summer after my freshman year, I was lucky enough to get an internship in Marketing in the Athletics department at NW Missouri State. I worked there for three years and met Brittny Wisong, who bossed me around all year in Athletics.

Little did I know, a new ‘Page’ would ‘Turn’ in my and Brittny’s friendship. The summer before graduation arrives, I apply for the Online Marketing Account Coordinator Internship at TTP.

Online Marketing Account Coordinator Internship - First Day

My day was filled with margarita glasses, chaos, training and being introduced to little Mexico that lives inside of TTP.

My next three months at Turn The Page Online Marketing are a whirlwind. I’m in awe of the amount of new information and skills I take in. I am so happy with my decision to pursue this opportunity in online marketing.

Online Marketing Optimization For Businesses

What have I taken away from this experience? Honestly, there are too many things to list. One of my favorites is how to optimize a business and get it listed on Google.

The best feeling, for me, was seeing a client succeed from the set-up meeting to three to four months into our online marketing optimization work. All the hard work caught the attention of complete strangers and helped the company’s success. It was great seeing the online marketing results represented by Google Analytics. It’s almost like Christmas in July.

Another one of my favorite experiences is working with a struggling client. It’s like being a doctor — a marketing doctor. The company’s life is in your hands. The CAT scan says it’s in trouble. We perform surgery (online marketing optimization), while the family is patiently waiting to see results and constantly asking questions about the patient and expertise. After spending hours in online marketing surgery, the end result is a life saved.

Online Marketing Account Coordinator - Full Time

I have a Big Girl job now. I am so lucky to be hired as a full-time TTP employee. It’s strange saying it out loud, but the feeling is very familiar. The staff and environment at TTP is warm, kind and welcoming. I really do love it here.

Everyone is great. Melissa McCoy is a great Online Marketing Results Manager. Tyler Hammer is a great Online Marketing Results Mentor and Director, and everyone else makes me feel like part of our online marketing team. I hope to be able to contribute something significant in online marketing while I’m here and make the clients as happy as possible.

This is a fast growing company, and their work ethic is strong. I can’t wait to continue my journey here and discover all that is to do in the world of online marketing.
