Location Targeting
With an understanding of location targeting, you can target your ads to almost any set of locations, including countries, territories, regions, cities and custom areas. This allows you to correctly aim your advertising message.
Network Settings
These settings determine where on the Internet your ads appear. Ads can appear on Google's Search Network, Display Network (previously known as Google Content Network), or both. Your coach will help you determine the correct network settings for your campaign.
Bidding Options
The cost-per-click (CPC) bid is the amount an advertiser is willing to pay for a click on their ad. Your coach will help you determine whether you should have the AdWords system manage your bids by choosing automatic bidding or manage the bids yourself. In more advanced options, we will also cover whether to choose to pay per thousand impressions (CPM bidding) or set a cost-per-acquisition bid (Conversion Optimizer).
Budget Set Up
Your coach will explain how to set up your daily and monthly budgets for the campaign. Understanding how budgeting works and how what you spend can vary from what you set as the budget is very important to maintain the cost effectiveness of your campaign. We will also cover position preference and delivery method which help determine where and how often your ads appear.
Ad Extensions
By adding data like a store address or phone number to your campaigns, you can extend your text ads to make them more useful and clickable.
Location Extensions
Use location extensions to show your business address with your ad when relevant on Google and its properties like Google Maps, and on mobile devices.
Product Extensions
When you link your Google AdWords and Google Merchant Center accounts, product ad formats will include information from your Merchant Center account, such as product images, descriptions, and prices.
Ad Sitelinks
Ad Sitelinks is a feature for search-based ads that lets you include up to four additional links to deeper content on your site beyond the main landing page. Sitelinks extends the value of your AdWords ads by showcasing additional targeted and relevant links when triggered by search queries.
Phone Extensions
Phone extensions allow your customers to call you directly from your ad if they are using a high-end mobile device such as an iPhone or Android phone that has a full Internet browser.
