Bing Optimization
If you believe Bing, their search engine finds and organizes the answers you need so you can make faster, more informed decisions. Of course there is the potential that Bing somehow copies the Google results. You can see some interesting data in a recent debate between Matt Cutts of Google and Harry Shum of Bing. From our perspective; both Google and Bing are in the same business of providing relevant results to those people who are searching online. There is bound to be some crossover between the two; it does seem Bing pushes the envelope. The Bing engine though, is designed to at least give the appearance it is different. Bing calls itself the "Decision Engine"–a faster way to make more informed choices. With what could be termed an innovative user interface (UI) design, Bing provides some depth and opportunity for searchers which offers some flexibility in how they find the information they seek when searching. Bing also now powers the Yahoo search platform, so potentially all three engines are producing similar results. Bing launched its new platform in 2009 including the Bing Local Business directory which allows local business to list themselves in Bing Maps. For all this, Bing is a major player in the search environment and has recently increased market share in many ways including its joint venture with Yahoo. Our optimization bundles include positioning and optimization in Bing Maps and Bing's decison engine.

Bing Business Listings
When your business is listed in the Bing Maps business directory, you are exposed to a different kind of searcher, Bing maps differs from Google maps in both look and feel. Bing maps is more image oriented; you will immmediately find images of your location (which can be set in preferences) with information about the current temperature and weather conditions. It is loaded with gadgets to keep a visitor interested and engaged. This is an extension of the "decision engine" search model providing the searcher with options. In the past most web optimization companies did not optimize for Microsoft. The advent of Bing has changed that premise. At Turn The Page Online Marketing we believe it is important for businesses to maintain a strong presence in the Bing "decision engine" and the Bing Business Listings on maps.
